A bit about me

I graduated with my master's degree in social work from the University of Southern California in 2018 with an emphasis in clinical work with children, youth, and families. I have spent much of my career in the Los Angeles area honing my skills providing individual, group, and family therapy at residential treatment centers, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, and community mental health clinics.

I have received specialized training and certifications in narrative therapy, internal family systems therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, Seeking Safety, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, and SMART recovery groups. I can incorporate parts of all—or none—of these evidenced-based practices into our work together, depending on your needs and preferences.

I was drawn to becoming a therapist because I'm passionate about helping people understand themselves and their experiences in a way that promotes healing and empowerment. What drives me in this field is the belief that everyone has the potential to rewrite their story, especially when it comes to navigating complex identities and societal challenges. I'm deeply committed to creating spaces that affirm people's lived experiences and help them connect with a more authentic and meaningful version of themselves.
